Founded in Belgrade in 1995 under the name Ateneum, our company worked on graphic design and prepress and published more than a hundred books over the course of twelve years. In 1998, we started designing and developing web systems. As a result, in 2002 we launched the first version of our flagship product, the Book.Store e-commerce web system. In 2005 we also started developing the Work Track Online system, now in beta.

As the company grew and expanded its business, we needed to separate our activities. In October of 2007, Pintor Project EUROPE is established as a company whose primary business encompasses graphic and web design and web system development. Ateneum continues to operate as a part of Pintor Project, dedicated to publishing business. An interesting moment in the company development is that the company and its strategy was born while founders ascended El Pintor (4.220m), one of the Andes peaks, known for its picturesque appearance (pintor in Spanish means painter). It was then that we decided to found Pintor Project LATAM in Santiago (Chile) which records sustained increase in its business activities.
